Statistics bug in EHM 2005

Hi,
Decided to dust off the old 05 and while playing it, I noticed that some players in my team have wrong regular season stats in their profiles. For example couple of players show 60 games played in the 2007-08 DEL season when the regular season in only 52 games. This thing happens in other leagues too.
Any idea what causes this?
