EHM The Blue Line

I traded for Andrew Shaw in the game and he cleared waivers to the farm team, but now I can not promote him back to the pro team. What would cause the option to become unavailable?

What are his contract clauses ? Maybe there is one about it ?

I don't really know all the waiver rules that well, but isn't there a time limit for the waivers? After you've waived a player, a certain amount of time passes, and you have to waive him again to promote / demote.

After waving a player you should be able to de- or promote him as much as you want. There is a certain limit of games played and days being on the roster of the NHL-club though. Once you pass one of the two, you have to waive him again to send him to the minors.

Didn't it used to be the way you said, but nowadays there's "re-entry waivers", where you have to waive the player again to bring him back up.

Edit: Seems those have been in-effect since the 2005 CBA

re-entry waivers are gone since the last CBA. Now you only waive when sending down. Guess it depends on what version of EHM is being talked about as well.

Ah, okay, I didn't know that.

As far as I can tell, Shaw should be able to come up. Perhaps a code problem with the contract (type 7)?

He was originally on the pro squad, passed waivers, demoted, then could not come up for the full season. We'll see if he's allowed up in the off-season. I have him for 3 more years, so it would be nice to be able to use him. Glitch or mistake on my part?

Looks like a bug. There isn't even the option to place him on waivers -- even if that should not be required anymore if re-entry waivers have been removed from the CBA.

"Name to Canada roster"? I do not have experience with managing a national team besides a club, but maybe it has something to do with that?
