EHM The Blue Line

Hi everyone..

please feel free to move this as I am sure I am probably posting it to the wrong area.

Here is my issue.. Played my first season with this data base, finished 7th in the east, hit free agency and I cant sign anyone.

Every time I go to sign a player it asks me for player status, no matter what I choose (some have a preferred status some dont) or who the player is (all star or ahl scrub) it takes me to the contract page and tells me "This player is not interested in negotiating terms".

Coupled with this I CAN edit the # of years I can offer but I CAN'T change the $$$. It is set at $575,000 and I cant increase or decrease (see image)

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

I have now simmed 3 day's and it seems I am now able to offer contracts. weird.

Got this sometimes, I think it is a cap ceiling issue where the board will not allow any new contract du to high salary cap..

I don't know what triggers this, especially in early July where UFA are released and salary cap drops down..
