EHM The Blue Line

I currently test the training scheme that has been posted on the EHM wiki page and set the "unused" training programme as such. However, when I want to place players on it which I don't use that often in order to keep them game-ready, they are not getting registered. Has this ever happened to anyone else before. For the record, I'm using EHM 1, with roster update 9.4, if this makes any difference.
