I have noticed the color coding on the player attributes page(green, yellow orange and red)I am assuming that green means increasing and red means dropping. What about yellow and orange?

In EHM I think it means, Green high, Yellow medium high, Orange medium low, Red low. Not sure what the boundaries are exactly, will have a look now

Edit: just had a look and it's Green is 17+, yellow 12-16, orange 7-11, red 1-6

Yeah, the profile attributes are colored by level only. To find out if attributes are dropping/rising, you have to be in the practice screen.

FYI: Using your skin's *.col file, you can change the profile attribute colors to whatever you want.

The colorization of the stats was actually a scale I started using with my skins for the 05/06 version that they've adopted for 007 :nerd: Originally they used yellow, darker yellow, white and red... It's clearer to differentiate the "sets" this way since the originals were very close in shade and I never felt the white made much sense. :dunno: This scale is roughly based upon a stoplight: Green is best then yellow, then orange then red is the worst. I know there's no orange on a stoplight but it's between yellow and red 8-)

You can create your own "scale" by changing the color options in the .col file or removing those options entirely. More details on that can be found in this thread about 2005. Both of the changes are now present as defaults in 2007 but the info is still the same if you'd want to change them.

ALSO! In your practice menu, when you're looking at attributes, if there are red attributes associated with a player that DOES mean they're going down. Green attributes mean an increase in the relevant skill and gray means no change. Pay attention to the numbers, though, oftentimes you'll have guys who have increased say 3 points in wristshot or speed but will begin to slip based on any number of factors. They'll still be 2 points above their base value so the attribute will show green but they're actually regressing. This can ususally be fixed by having the player practice more in the relevant area (or they might just be getting old, in which case it might be time to make a trade).

Ok, while we are on colour coding and such. I haven't been able to find the colour/ranking order for a players position.

Obviously Natural is the best, but then what? Accomplished, then competent I assumed?

Not 100% sure, but i think it's:

Natural / Accomplished / Competent / Unconvincing / Awkward.
