Is there any way to prevent non-playing staff from retiring early? After year 1 of my MIN playthrough on the Vegas db v1.2 Bruce Boudreau, Jim Rutherford. and David Poile retired

That means you are in 2018 then? So you think Poile (67) and Rutherford (68) is too early? Most of the staff in EHM retires around this age normally from my experiences. I dob't expect them to be there til 75 years old! Boudreau at 62 is perfectly normal too IMO.

Most of the staff that get contrats often are going to retire between 60-65. This probably has something to do with the coding of the game since it's rare to see some people going 70+ in hockey. So when you start a new game, the older staff in the NHL retires shortly in the first seasons you play. That's how I see it.

I see what you mean and that totally makes sense, but it just looks weird seeing the most respected general managers and coaches in the NHL retire so early.

Yeah I get your point. Especially how good Poile and Rutherford are looking right now but most people don't last until 65+ years old. So I guess they went with an average.
