whats up with him in this game. he is imo the most underrated player in the entire game. for a guy who dominated juniors last season he's ratings are just way to bad. just compare him to wolski. radulov and wolski were probably the two guys who dominated the chl the most last season, but wolski is like 10 times better. all my scouts say that radulov has third line potantial. i dont want him to be a sure fire superstar like crosby/ovechkin. i just want him to have the right ratings and better potential. same thing goes for robert nilsson. my scouts told me he is a marginal prospect.

btw. in the editor. what is current abillity??

Well, I don't get into the player ratings debats much as I'm not a researcher but Wolski to Radulov is not a fair comparison actually. This kind of goes back to our "prospects are just that until they prove it" and Wolski with his playoff performance last year and his continued point production with Colorado from the beginning of the season means he's proved it. Radulov however didn't make the team and got sent down. He hasn't produced much when given a shot either so I would expect him to not be as highly rated as Wolski at this point.

That goes even moreso for Nilsson who is a super prospect but has no NHL experience at all.

Also, always keep in mind that everything your scouts tell you is filtered through their ability as scouts to determine such things. For many scouts in the game you'd get a more accurate opinion asking my mother who's 65 and has never watched a game than them. So a scout telling you Nilsson is marginal doesn't necessarily mean anything about Nilsson being underrated in the game.

So, go with the guys you believe in; if you think Nilsson is worth it grab him :dunno:

well radulov has scored two goals in the 6 games he has played this season, but i agree wolski should be higher regarded, but not by that much. i allways thought the scouting reports was allmost a sure thing, but you know your stuff. so i know you are right.

another guy who is underrated. claude giroux. i think i have played about 5-6 season alltogether right now and he still hasn't cracked 20 points in the Q. patrick berglund and dennis persson is terrible to. the aren't even marginal propsects according to my scouts.

A lot of the younger prospects are given a random potential attribute, where they could become anywhere from an AHL regular to a NHL regular. The young prospects are so hard to judge and that's why the ratings are there. If you play a lot of games you will see that in one of the games, player X is a marginal NHL player, and in another game he is anchoring your 2nd line and putting up 60 points per season.

yeah i know that. and radulov has a -8 wich is very good and you should at least have second line potantial, but my biggest problem are he poor ratings when you start. he has like under 10 in allmost everything. so does berglund and persson. they should at least have the potential to be somebody when they have bad ratings. where are you going to go with bad ratings and bad potantial??
