Wanted! Volunteers to help run the Challenges

Unfortunately it seems Bruins72 isn't around much and so I will have to continuing running the Challenges in between other commitments (all of my free/TBL time is spent on the Editor). We normally run four or five Challenges per year but this year we have only run two because we no longer have somebody with enough spare time to run things. With this in mind, I think the Challenges desperately need a couple of volunteers to help run things.
Ideally we could do with a couple of volunteers who are experienced with the Challenges (preferably who have completed at least
two full seasons in at least
five previous Challenges). I can do all of the administrative work (e.g. awarding trophies and setting up each new Challenge via the forum software), but it would be great to have a couple of volunteers who can do all of the following:
- decide on which teams to use;
- write the short news items announcing each new Challenge;
- moderate the Challenge Forum;
- review and revise the rules;
- respond to queries; and
- generally take care of day to day running of the Challenges.
Realistically, the time commitment required is relatively small but volunteers will need to be prepared to spend time on the tasks listed above on a fairly regular basis.
If you would like to volunteer and have enough free time then please post in this thread.

FYI - Archi has accepted my offer to run the Challenges
I offered after Archi noted the lack of volunteers
viewtopic.php?f=20&t=18803&p=233118#p233118
With my editing focus I've not played in the Challenges (I did once years ago, and started a couple others but never got through the first quarter season), but I've always followed the Challenge related threads (and I plan on participating in the Challenges from now on, which I'm excited about)
I'm reviewing/compiling things now in regards to the "review and revise the rules" task noted above.
I've learned that including the 2010 rules referenced in the current Challenge Announcement, there have been 5 distinct ways of playing since 2010; there have been 4 distinct ways of playing since October 2014! And there's variations within those distinct ways too!
Going through the Challenge Announcements is where I'm learning of the different rule-sets/variations.
I'm also going through the individual Challenge Discussion Threads looking for any comments on rule related matters.
Feel free to post any general Challenge related comments/feedback in this thread

Still need help on running them? I see they've kind of died after the Vegas one ended last August, and looks like a few different rosters are out that can be used. Always enjoyed them

Asher413 and MWE kindly volunteered but, as you say, not a lot has happened since last August. I'm happy to add you to the team if you're interested in helping out.

Sure! I'll at least try to get one running this weekend to spark peoples interest again. Then maybe w/many coming back we can look further into rules, etc.
but w/so many roster updates seems like an easy step in, then maybe do a fun weird one over the summer months
