Questions for creating prospects in far-out drafts

Hey guys -

I'm working on an "alternate universe" DB and am looking to create a prospect pool for the drafts starting after 2021 and had a few questions about attributes, CA, and PA. I've got the gist of what -10, -9, etc. mean, and I've tried looking for a formula or something to calculate CA enough times to know it's not worth asking for one.

So, which attributes do not affect CA? Are there any across all positions and roles or is it different for each position and player role? Basically, I want to make sure that the values I input for each prospect won't get changed by the game once the DB is loaded. I'm planning on leaving the attributes that do affect CA blank and letting the player role formulas sort them out, but I want to leave as few attributes blank as possible.

If this has already been asked, could someone link me to the thread? I tried a whole bevy of combinations of terms in the search and came out empty-handed.

Thanks for the help and all your work on the DB.

Based on significant testing I did, this thread indicates which Attributes are "permanent" (never change from what's entered in the database), which Attributes only change a bit, and which change/develop the most https://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/v ... 4&start=25

In case you're not aware of it, here's the thread with all the Player Roles & their Key/Essential/Non-Essential/Irrelevant Attributes https://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/v ... 10&t=16777
The July 26, 2016 post notes "with the new EHM almost all (all?) Attributes can now develop, and there is no longer a minimum/maximum value" and also provides an "expected average attribute by CA chart for the new EHM"

I also did some extensive testing looking at Player Roles & their Key/Essential/Non-Essential/Irrelevant Attributes, and there's separate threads looking at forwards https://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/v ... 10&t=16776 and defensemen https://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/v ... 10&t=16775 and goaltenders https://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/v ... 10&t=16774
I believe the testing shows the results, for each position and Player Role, over seven different CA ranges (1-200, 40-69, 70-99, 100-139, 140-159. 160-179 and 180-200)

Unfortunately when TBL switched to the new website software the table formatting was lost, so data presented in tables in these threads isn't easy on the eyes

I also put together a very basic researcher guide that might be helpful https://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/v ... 10&t=16778
