Is there any way to go beyond the year 2099? Or, to import the players to a new game file? I tried changing the date, but that makes players in their -60's and -70's for age (although all those super old staff members are now appropriate ages, lol).

There's not any way I'm aware of.

I never get beyond 2030-ish myself, so it's never been a concern I guess. It's been a long time since I've delved into the .EHM files beyond player basic editing, but I wonder if you could do a mass replace of birthyears in the file to then port everyone back around to proper game ages after changing the game year in the LEAGUE.EHM? That's about the only idea I have. I'm not aware of any game utility ever being made to roll rosters back over to make them playable again...

Thanks, yeah, I never made it so far until now, lol. Usually my interest would wane around the '40s, if not earlier. But, I was thinking along the same line, like, if I remember right, in Excel, you can tell the it to replace all instances of, say, 2085 with 1985. Of course, there's only Notepad to edit files, and even if I could somehow get the data to Excel, I'd have to get it back to Notepad in the same format (nor do I have any programming chops to make a utility on my own). What I'm going to attempt is to start a new file, pick a team and get rid its of existing players, and at least import the players on my team I was using in the 2099 file (and maybe another player or two from around the league) and change just their birthdays (rather than all 3,000). Kinda weird having a team of unknown game generated players going against the likes of Roy and Fedorov, but oh well, lol.

You shouldn't need to import and export. There's a Replace All function in Notepad. Edit... Replace... and when you put the strings in there's a button t the right to Replace All.

Oh sweet, I never noticed that function in Notepad, had no idea, lol. Thanks!

Signed up here to basically ask the same thing; after almost 7 years I got to 2099 and hit a year cap I had no idea existed, and now I'm wondering how to continue my game from here.

EDIT: I rolled back the clock to 1999, as y'all suggested, and after downloading a custom schedule it worked pretty much perfectly... except now nobody has draft picks for the upcoming 2000 draft. How do I fix this?

The first season is 2001-02 so the game isn't designed to have a 2000 draft. Try rolling to 2001.
