I remember in the EHM NHL 05 how it was hard to be a GM in the AHL because of the players that your affiliate was sending to you... Is it the samething in the 07 or it's easier to be the GM?

Because to jump from the ECHL to the NHL might be a bit hard...

The rules are still the same in the AHL.

The NHL team sends it's players to you and can take them away at any time.

I tried it only once in EHM05 with the Providence Bruins.

I think its tough because u really cant make any long term plans because u never know when your affiliate will take back your best players from u

But well, on the other hand, Iam playin in the Q right now and its pretty much the same, talking about long term plans, as u only have your players for four years in the best case.

Its part of the fun!!! :dunno: :-D

They've tweaked the system more for 007 so you won't get flooded with players anymore, but yes the NHL team still has final say-so on when they want to send/recall players from your team.

It is probably easier to play in the AHL though because they don't have a roster limit, while the ECHL allows only a max of 20 players.

In fact, i always start in the "Q" whit the Rempart, the problem is: I always win the president cup and i finish first in the league so the next year my team is naff, because all my good players went in the NHL, and my board is still asking to win the president cup.

For the ECHL, even if we are able to only have 20 players, i think it's easier because i can sign a lot of good players. In the AHL, your NHL team send you to much players, so you're unable.

Anyway, i'll go in the AHL at the end of my season (2007-2008) because whit my Ice Pilots in the ECHL i will win the cup again one year after won the cup in the LHJMQ...

But i don't do the tactics, so the AHL might be boring for me... :-?
