Tour vs. Away Friendlies (difference?)

Does anyone know what the ingame difference is between going on a tour and just arranging 4 or 5 friendlies away against the exact same teams?

I assume maybe the travel costs will be different, as the game may think the team goes back to it's home country between every away game, while it stays in the touring country during the whole tour.

The reason I am asking is, that I have found that teams cannot arrange tours to all countries (depending on how big the team is), but as I always like to go on tour in my home country Denmark in preseason, I have just gotten around this by arranging a lot of away friendlies.

Anyway, anyone know the difference? :-?

Hmm, I don't know, I've never tried a tour but it sounds interesting. I'll have to try that next off season. Usually in pre-season I play exhibition games against other teams I want to scout early on.

I am curious though, does your team get any revenue from home exhibition games? If so, then maybe going on a tour would mean missing out on some cash.

You do get revenues from home exhibition games.

In FM, I also think touring for example in Asia as Barcelona etc. will give you more fan support and sell more merchandise etc., but I don't know if the same is true in EHM.
