Hi Lloyd, welcome to TBL
The higher the number the greater severity of injury, so someone who has had a concussion he's missed time for may remain a 2 for concussions while Eric Lindros would be a 10. There are also degrees of injury listings, for example CONCUSSION 2 would be someone like Forsberg recently... while Lindros and Roenick who are both around one hit from calling it a career would be FUTURE_CONCUSSION 10 I think it is guys like Ed Belfour would be FUTURE_PERMANENT_BACK_SPASMS 6 meaning he'll always have back spasm problems for the duration of his career. Otherwise injuries go away leaving little to no trace.
You'd follow the same naming conventions as other cards Firstname_Lastname_DayofBirth_MonthofBirth_YearofBirth notice it's day first NOT month first.

Thank you for the Welcome.
So I would want to make injuries 0 for say Gretzky and much higher like a 17 for a Neely?

Maybe not that high for Neely, unless of course you put Ulf Samuelsson in the game as well

lol
No Ulfie...maybe Kjell. lol
Just trying to add some guys to be rookies down the line that will be fun to have in the game rather than pc generated guys.
I wish this game could start back and work forward. That would be kind of fun too.

Putting 0 in an attribute gives the player a random attribute. Put a 1 instead.

Thank you for the tip.
Is there a way to back up the database for future use or future adds to the players list?
So I can add others at a later date for a new game as I learn more about the workings of this game?
Thanks in advance.
Lloyd

Moved to G&GA Forum
Check out the "Guide: Installing addons, using WinZip, running multiple DBs" sticky post atop the forum for info about backing up/using multiple databases

But keep in mind that you need to start a new game to see any changes made to a database.
