EHM The Blue Line

Hey I can't resist posting this, during training camp, I was trying to get Ovechking, I offered Rick DiPietro (who I got for a few average prospects and some late draft picks) Bryan Allen (I got for a 6th round pick) and a fairly average LW prospect and a fairly average blueline prospect, they accepted, I was pretty excited about that, anyway it came to the time where everyone was placing there playes on waivers, I places all my fringe players on waivers and none got picked up, anyway Washington did there waivers, and placed Rick DiPietro on waivers, yes he is 26-27, nearing his prime, and they put him on waivers before Cloutier and Khabi, so I picked up DiPietro off waivers, so really, I lost a few average prospects, an an overpayed Blueliner an picked up a super star, and a solid goaltender, that I can trade for some young guns if I like.

Wow. Talk about quanity for quality.

That IS lucky. Honestly, I've had so many games that the Caps want 4 first rounders for AO, that I've given up trying to trade for him.
