"They have no significant injuries at the moment"

I always have a scout set to watch my upcoming opponents. So, it's the Devils coming up in the latter part of the 2007/08 season. According to the scout they have a shrewd head coach, a good defense, and Parise and Elias are the forwards to watch. And no significant injuries.
Yeah. No significant injuries. Except for the minor issue that Martin Freakin' Brodeur is still on IR after blowing out his knee before Christmas. Of course, it's not a big deal. They've only gone down oh, maybe 10 spots in the East standings while Marty's been out.
No significant injuries. Sheesh.

Yeips, u are right there!!!
I dont know what my scout sees when he watches the next opponent, but even when a important player is injured he says the same phrase: no significant injuries at the time....
Man, is he blind or what????
...also, Iam playing my third season in the Q and there the teams change drasticly from one season to the other, but since the first season it always says the same when describing a team....for example: Acadie-Bathurst are ALWAYS "like bye as they have a terrific hockey team".....and they are dead last
or
Saint John "are a poor excuse of a hockey team"....and they are second only behind me
I even have tried to change my scout but with the same results....nevermind

Exactly, it's always the same darn message whit the scouts... Alex was becoming angry yesterday because i have a good team this season (me second) i am like rank 4th in the "Q". But when i play against the Rempart (last in the league) they say i will have to play really hard to win the game... And i beated them like 6-2...

"We shouldn't bother about their special teams." (Or something like that, can't remember.)
On the Sens who have a 27% power play!

Keep in mind these things are all filtered through your scout's eyes; so if you scouts suck so will your reports
I've never once used a 'scout the other team' report to be honest with you

I use the "scout next opponent" option all the time. I go with a scout that has good numbers in scouting a player's current ability and also in tactics. If the scout is good in these areas they can offer some pointers on how to play against them. Plus, it's a nice preview of the team in general before you play them. It's also nice to see who they have injured.

Exactly thats the point!!!
I remember playing againts Moncton with my Mooseheads and they had Matt Marquardt injured (their most important player)....but my scout, who has 18 in current ability and 15 in tactics says "they have no significant injury"
But I agree, I use the next opposition scouting it all the time...helps me to see how they play, but still u get some funny things sometimes
