Two Panthers' players arrested in a Miami bar

One of them is a surprise: Ville Peltonen. He was arrested for vandalizing a fire truck parked outside the bar. Doesn't really sound very characteristic of him, but I guess he was stone cold drunk at the time.
The identity of the
other Panther isn't a surprise.

Yeah, i'm really surprised to hear Peltonen was doing something like that. Where was that "Ed Belfour award of the month" thread again..

Yeah, I think it's the first time there's something newsworthy in Peltonen's off-ice life. It's funny how much attention this is getting here in Finland -- there's even talk of whether he can now come and play for us in the Worlds. Get real, folks! It was just after a disappointing season ended, he got wasted and spent the night in the slammer. For someone like Eddie the Eagle it's par for the course (and the Karalahti comparisons are off since a) Peltonen is not a repeat offender and b) he did it when his team had *zero* games left in the season).

With the moustache, missing front teeth and the mullet he once had, he'd look like a, um, certain kind of a German movie star from the 70s.
