EHM The Blue Line

I don't know if anyone has had this happened before but i was simming though my game against the los angles kings. LA stated marty turco and ended up being pulled after giving up 6 goals, so osgood came in and what do u know there was a line brawl so he and my goalie gets ejected no problem turcos back in for LA. Then after i scored again turco gets hurt and i look up and it says 5-0 final which was the score after one. Very strange just was interest to see if anyone else had had this happen to them or atleast heard of it. I'll try to post the picture in the image gallery

That sounds mad! It just goes to show that, just like real life, crazy things can sometimes happen in EHM.

And yeah the linebrawl followed by goalie injury is one of the only decent percentage chances that NHL games will end up in forfeits. Brawls and a bunch of injuries to skaters can do it as well, but it is even more rare to see.

Does the game really end in a forfeit if both goalies are out? There at least used to be a rule in some leagues that in such cases, you got an extended timeout (10-15 minutes) during which you could have one of your skaters put on goalie gear.

Frankly, unless there was only a couple of minutes left and my team had a big lead or it's a real do-or-die game, in real life I'd probably forfeit the game rather than risk yet another injury to a guy who can't play in goal.

in the 80s for montreal.. the first goalie got injured.. and when the 2nd one got injured.. they rushed Chris Chelios to put a goalie stock.. but finally the second goalie was ok to stay in the game.

wow those are some wild screenshots there. Doesn't seem very fair that all the instigating minors were for the Caps players yet it was the Rangers that had to forfeit. Also I have never seen two sperate line brawls in a single game like that. Do you have all your players set to encouraged to fight?

I hadn't seen Terva's post before but that is really crazy. 8-0 up and you throw the game away through brawling!
