he got all the right stuff to be a great nhl head coach.
he is also very young.
the only thing he lacks is determination.
but the other skills are simply Amazing!
now i just need to get him to sign for my capitals franchise.

Wow! That is one tasty looking coach you found there. What year are you in?
Welcome to TBL! You should stop by the welcome thread and introduce yourself.

Cheers!

It's funny how random things are. In in May of 2008 in my current game and he's still a player. He doesn't even have non-player stats yet.

Not sure deknegt, I've never really had him but in my career in the 2007/2008 season the Caps have him on a line with Forsberg and Clark. It's January 9th 2008, and the top 5 point leaders in the league are as follows:
1. Ovechkin 69 (43 GP)
2. Forsberg 67 (43 GP)
3. Modano 56 (42 GP)
4. Demitra 56 (42 GP)
5. Spezza 56 (43 GP)
Forsberg and AO are pretty much ripping the league up, I just recently lost to the Capitals 7-4, both Forsberg and AO got hattys. My Sabres are first in the league 31-11-0, and the Caps are sitting in 3rd in the Eastern Conference at 26-14-3.
Edit: How did you get EHM to play in windowed mode?

You really should take this to a different thread because it's way off topic. Somebody just started an Alexander Ovechkin thread right
here.

stupid me
and getting ehm in windowed is easy.
you gotta put your screen resolution on 1152X864 or higher if you wish.
and then you can tick the box in preferences.

to get back on topic.
its 6 february first season now mr. marble is interested in signing with my franchise.
his demands are 512K per season for 3 years.
totaling to 1.53M over 3 years.
his stats are not only great but he is also a cheap bargain.

It is weird how much he resembles my own
french coach
I signed him until 2021-22 season

thats frikking long!
but i dont know about marble i managed to sign him.
but do the coaches get some experience per year or not?
if that is so i sign him as assistant and get someone more experienced to do the job a couple of years.

deknegt: yes, staff members progress or regress like the players. However, you have no control about that, ie you can't train them like you do with players

I wish that I could find some coaching like that in my game. I mean, I just started again, but it would be really nice.

Mine was a scout for Dijon, a medium sized french city (I didn't even know they had a team) before I signed him.
How can a great guy like that be samll staff for a bad team
Anyway, he's 3 straight Jack Adams

I have found a few good coaches here and there. I don't believe that they had great attributes like those above, but they made my team work very well and they rookies attributes would usually go through the roof.
I know that if you can get Craig Ludwig on your team as an assitant coach and let him teach your young defensemen. He does wonders, I know that on my game all of his attributes are above 12, but his defense is 20 and his working with youngsters is 20. Also, his motivation/determination is 20 as well.
Makes for a very nice coach when it comes to the youngsters.

I've tried Ludwig too, my D-squad wasn't filled with youngsters but he has done wonders with Brendan Witt, Nolan Yonkman and Eric Cairns.

i will try to look for him.
but marble already did a small wonder last season.
he actually made ovechkin and zubrus work well together.
EDIT: ludwig doesnt look all to great on my game only 17 defense 12 youngsters and 15 det
and if you have any tips for great assistant coaches i would gladly hear them

Hey guys...two things..nothing major
1. Can we use photobucket or a hosting site for our images from now on please.
2. I have changed the title of this topic to SUPER COACHES. That way we have one topic for all the big coach stats in the game, and not a separate thread for every one down the road.
No big deal, but just keeps the site cleaner looking. Thanks

For those that might want to use a nice place to host pictures. I suggest using Ripway Web Hosting, because it is free and quick.
I have been using it for years and it is perfect if you want to share pictures with other people or even host a small website.
The website is,
www.ripway.com if you want to try it out.
Ok, now to get back onto the topic at hand. That is a bummer that Ludwig isn't highly rated on your game, but he is on mine. Anyway, I know that I like to grab Tretiak as my goaltending coach when I can, because he does pretty good stuff. All of his attributes are about 10 to 14, but his goaltending is a solid 20.
I wonder why...
As for any other coaches that I can recommend to you right now. I can't think of any at hand, but I will look around in my game to see what I can dig up.

Yeah, I know... that foto was taken with my eye glasses hidden camera as we shook hands at his arrival to the team, and the feeling was mutual...

GRRRRR!!!!!! I hate Ulf! I hate Ulf more than any other person to play the game of hockey! That cheap shot artist is the reason for Cam Neely's career ending too soon. I honestly don't usually wish people harm but I'd like to see Ulfy molested by a pack of Silverback Gorillas.
