EHM The Blue Line

I don't know if anyone has ever seen this one. I've been playing EHM 2007 non-stop since it's come out and I've never seen it.

I was playing a game with my current Blackhawks challenge team. The score was tied 5-5 after two periods. Ryan Malone had a hat trick, Handzus and Vrbata had assists. My Sedin line figured into the scoring on the other two goals. I go into the tactics and change my forward usage from Normal to Overload. I hit "OK" and it brings me back into the game. The only thing is, this isn't how I left the game. Now the score is 4-0 but there were 2 goals in the first and 2 in the third. I don't know what it was simming at the end there. Malone didn't have a hat trick but all the scoring did come from his line. It's not like it disregarded an earlier period. It just came up with a new game out of nowhere!


Has anyone ever seen anything like this?

I have seen this randomly - but only once or twice. I got it when I made a goalie swtich. One second it's 5-3 the next it's 6-4. Different goal scorers, etc. In my experience, it never switched which team was on top - if I was winning, it stayed that way after the 'switch'.

Yeah it has happened two or three times to me. IT happened lots before the patch, when I played with tactics. That still seems to be the trigger point. But as you know I play with tactics each and every game all the time, and ... only once or twice since 3.04. I think I have played about 15-20 seasons since then.

I had this once or twice. Every time, the highlights were going crazy, showing nothing interesting, ending an highlight period just before a shoot, things like that. I figured that if you let that run for too long, then the score will be messed. Sometimes in your favor, sometimes not. But if you notice strange things with the highlight, go to your tactics, hit "confirm" without changing anything, and it usually goes okay, with normal highlights and a normal score.

I haven't noticed that problem, although, I never watch my games. I just check box scores, which leads me to my own problem.

Whenever I go into a shootout, no matter the outcome, The game never shows who shot or scored. It's not really a problem...but ya know. I have the updated page and I'm running the TBL database. But this has done it even before the TBL datasbase was released.

I've seen Joe's problem too. If you continue out of the game screen and look at the scores screen and click "box scores" (I think) it should show who scored in the shoot out. I normally just watch the boxscores too unless it comes down to a shoot out. Then I watch what is going on.

I don't think so. I think it started happening with the most recent patch. But who knows, its not really a problem.

I always just watch the box score and always see who scores in the shootout so I don't think its that.

It happens to me for the first time today. I was in the second period it was 5-2 for the other team. I think I went modify my tactics and after that, it was 3-2 again for them and i finally won ... unfair for the other team =P.

It's a bad bug but at least it seems to not happens really often ...

Maybe this is the game's way of keeping you on your toes.

What's your level of detail? If it's only as "quick sim", then you won't have shootout scorers, play-by-play and won't be able to watch highlights for the goals scored.

Is there a bug in this game where the score changes during a game? And before someone get's smart, obviously the score is going to go up when teams score. I'm referring to the score going down.

So I'm playing a game in the EIHL against the mighty Hull . I take a 0-2 lead after the first. They then score 2 in the second so going into the third, the game is tied 2-2. THey score a PP goal (surprise, surprise) in the third so with 1:30ish remaining, I pull my goalie. I was too busy watching the remainder of the game to notice when it happened but sometime after me taking my goalie off, the score changed to 3-0 in favour of Hull. All references to me scoring 2 goals vanished. 3-2, 3-0, the end result is the same but I'm wondering what happened to my 2 goals and is this a known bug? If so, any idea what causes it?

I've seen this happen once or twice in my many years playing. Never really figured out what it was, just firgured it was a glich and moved on.

I've seen it too. Fortunately it's very rare.
