First of all, thank you for this site and all the participants contributing to it!!! Keeping a truly GREAT program active, even while being discontinued.
We prefer Linux as our OS. Biggest problems in compatibility has been in the graphics area with various programs. Any suggestions, or just keep windows on a laptop and run the program from there?
Again, thanks your forum is great!

Not really sure on Lunux. I would check out the SI forums and do a search. Not even sure if anyone here is using Linux honestly. I would think if someone was, it would have come up already.
Anyway...welcome! Please introduce yourself in the arrivals thread. Always good to have more bug fans around.

I believe people have had some success in running EHM in Linux. If I remember correctly, you need something like Wine (the Windows emulation software for Linux) to get it to work. EHM isn't really too demanding in the way of graphics but I think it may need DirectX so that may be an issue. However, I'm sure someone said they'd managed to run it using Wine
Here's the Wine site:

The problem with Wine is that I am almost 100% sure that you will never get EHM2007 working because of the license system. You might get the CD-version working though, people have succeded with FM, which EHM is based on. I have not tried myself yet as I have not played with Linux for a while.
