I play NHL EHM 07 several hours a' day. My capital just gets lower and lower every day, and i cant do anything to stop it!
I make sure my team salary are below the given budget, but can i do anything more to keep my economy stable?

Thankful for any advice,

yours Ahmann

What team are you playing as? I find that unless you are playing as the big market teams like Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Philly, Detroit, etc it's next to impossible to not lose money or come close to it without a long playoff run. It is however normal for your cash to decline as the year goes on, because its the way it works in real life, teams get almost all their money before game 1 from season tickets and TV rights, then have to spend that money as the year goes on.

Also, what database are you using. If you're using one of the ones that has a salary cap above the 44 M, I find that it does cause teams to lose money a lot more often because the game doesn't compensate for the extra salary being spent with higher revenues.

You can't do much, unfortunately. I think finances in lower leagues at least are screwed... I have the same problem in Austrian league as well, I'm playing with Jesenice. My salary budged is 98,000$ p/y - for a testing purpuse I have released all my staff and players and brought the budged down to 19,500$ p/y. With such a team, I can't be competitive of course, but still - I was able to gain some money, but it was only 2000$ per week, which was all lost at the end of the month anyway. Basicly, I was 1,3M $ in red numbers and I just gave up in finances, so I will just operate in my current budged, without paying much attention to financial part. Which is unfortunate, but we can't do much. I would love to be able to save the team from financial problems, If I played a season or two with etc. 50000$ payroll. But If I have to loan my whole team to 0$ contract (which would lead into 56 losses and kick in my ass anyway), then it's just not feasible.
