Hello everybody. I´m the new guy from Germany and happy to be here

Please forgive me my bad english, but i´m still working on it.
I´m a long time fan of your site, but it was frustrating, that nobody seems to be interested in the DEL, one of the major leagues in Europe. So I grabbed myself and did some work with the TBL Cards Template and did the Cards for nearly every DEL Player from the 07/08 Season (must be around 350 Players). I also did some players of the Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg who are not in the DEL in EHM but in real life ^^
Here are some examples of my work.

I would appreciate some response.
If it is wished i will do some files and host the pics.

I just showed you the best ones

Okay i will do some files, and post you the download links tomorrow.
some players birthdate is totally wrong in the TBL:DB (

) so i just fixed it for myself. You have to look at some players if it´s right or not. And the players from Mannheim and Augsburg where my first tries. They are bad ^^

In the next update I believe there are something like 400 birthdates that will be changed. I am unsure if they caught German ones though since i Have not been working on it.
If you give us a list though, the guys would greatly appreciate it, and someone will make the changes I am sure.
Thanks for the files and the headsup.

Don't despair my Deutschland friend... I, for one, am quite interested in the DEL(and everything else German).
Unfortunately, though, I can't play it in EHM anymore because the gray players thing kills all the fun for me.
(The "gray players thing" I'm referring to is a problem I noticed a little bit ago, where if you take your team to the foreigner limit of 12, the game will, for some reason, give you a whole handful of fake(gray) players. No idea why it does this, but it does. And since my style of play is to stick strictly to the role of GM, the AI coach would often dress these fake players for games... giving them game-time rather than my real contracted players.)
Anyway... your cards are looking perfect. Definitely worth an upload.

It seems that you made a really nice job for a first try!

Can't wait to have it in my game.

Wow, it´s amazing, what good responses my cards get
And with the gray players:
I´m already working on the rosters of the junior teams of each club. I´ve already done for myself for the teams of Cologne (MY team ^^) the Mannheim Eagles and Berlin. And with them ot needs nearls up to 10 seasons if the gray players are a real problem.
I´m yet working on the fixed details about the DEL-Players (birthdates, NEW germans like Jason Holland and so on), just tell me where to post the list and i do so.
Now you have a DEL expert in your community

Well, we won't be creating any new Germans to the game, but as for the wrong DOB's you can post them
HERE (link) if you like, and then I'll add them to the file.

The DEL isn't really that small - it's bigger than our little Brit leagues. From what I've been told, the Germans take their hockey really seriously. There's some pretty fierce rivalries - both between the teams and between the fans.
But, yes it is good to see the leagues that haven't had much attention EHM-wise get some attention

Yup. Germany as a hockey country is pretty well established in the A-Group of World Championships and narrowing the gap on the bigger countries at a good pace.

And we´ve got the longest game in european history since Saturday

Mannheim vs. Köln (Cologne) finished in 6th Overtime and i was there

(i have a seasoncard for Cologne).
And yes there are really big rivalries here, but the fans are nice to each other. We often have after-game parties with the opponents fans. After the game all rivalries are gone, then we are just hockey fans here in germany.
Before i forget:
DEL Cards
This pack includes 354 Pictures of the DEL players. If you find someone who´s missing tell me.

Not to be picky, cause I really do not know...but do not the rest of the Euro leagues use shootouts, thus eliminating any long OT games, even in playoffs?

Thanks for the pics.
Just a tip, the pics take awfully lot of disk space. When you save the file, use the "save for web" option instead, with 75% quality, and you will get a 25kB card instead.
Keep up the good work
