Off-season Vacaton

I like to take a few weeks vacation right after the season/elimination from playoffs, usually just to speed up the playoffs. I have set the options to use current tactics and lines and roster selection, and do not change anything, but when i go on vacation, my Ass. GM sends eligible players down to AHL. My AHL team is done for the year, so i don't want them moving down since I want them to maintain their off-season practice sched.

How can I stop this from happening, or is it always going to happen. It doesn't happen in July or August, just during the Playoffs.

It can be because your assistant think that your roster is too big or something, during the offseason (july-august) it doesn't matter, that's the only reason I can think of.

I keep my roster from the last game, I don;t add any players. Usually 20-21 players on my roster at the time

Does he send down all the players who are eligible or only the ones with two-way contracts?

All the players who are eligible. I recalled all of them, went on vacation, and after I think the 4th or 5th day, i got the news that he had assigned 14 layers to the AHL

You must have a really young roster.
