EHM The Blue Line

I have a game with the Colorado Avalanche and my PK is killing me! Last year i have a PK of 89% and this year my PK is like 82%. I have the same defence as last year except for Brian Rafalski i sign on the UFA. I don't know why but Rafalski don't do anything good he have a rating only of 7.10 and i don't know if it's because of him that my PK i weak. What should i do? Trade him or just try some new tactics?

I would keep Rafalski. Playing on the first line with a proper offensive tactic he could make up big numbers. And with a low avarage rating you should be able to resign him to a cap friendly contract.

Rafalski to me is always a big underperformer in EHM. Rather like Martin St. Louis.

After he played badly for me for a season I replaced him with Derek Morris with exactly the same personal tactics and line assignments and his average rating was about 1.5 better over the season.

Try someone like Jason Smith for the PK, instead of Rafalski. Rafalski is classified as offensive even though his defensive ratings seem quite good.

For me now he play on my second line in PK with Marc Staal i think and for the full strenght he play with Jay Bouwmeester.
