Can Coaches Develop Like Players?

Hey Guys,

I was checking out the editor, and I noticed a lot of coaches with high potential ability (180 - 200 - and you'd be surprised how many have upper 190's and 200), but low current ability (some as low as under 10). Do coaches abilities develop over the course of seasons, or are they finite?

What would one do to help...encourage... coaches with very promising potential ability numbers to reach them? Being around other good coaches? Working for high profile teams? Working with NHL caliber players?

Has anyone discovered ways for coaches to increase their attributes and current ability numbers?

Thx!

I know they do sometimes improve, but I don't know of any way of developing a coach's stats. It may have to do with how good their players are and how much you win. It would stand to reason that if you give a coach decent players who can win, the coach will get better. If you give him rubbish and constantly lose, he may not develop to his potential. Just speculation.
