EHM The Blue Line

A while ago i started playing with a team called "Storhamar Dragons" in the norwegian league. I came to my mind that that Norway doesn´t have a team represented in the "Continental Cup".

So i started wondering if the World Rankings has something t do with this? Is is possible that if the National team perform well and move up the rankings, in the future a norwegian team will enter the Continental Cup instead of a lower ranked nation for example Hungary?

Pretty sure they just opted not to be involved in the competition at least not that particular season. It certainly won't be about rankings as it is higher than many of the nations that do have teams in the competition. I think also Italy did not have a team in it for that season though that is not a playable league. Germany might be similar situation for Champions cup. Is that hard coded or can it change because of rankings as I think the 6 top nations in Europe got teams in that competition.
