Coaching NHL and National Team

I am the GM for the Chicago Blackhawks and recently got hired as the GM for U.S.A. under 20. I have a couple questions (I preformed a search a couldn't find an answer):
1) Can you hire scouts for national teams? I wasn't able to do this, although I could hire an assistant GM, coach, assistant coach and trainer, so I had to rely on the scouts from the Blackhawks. In other words, I had some of them doing youth searches and U.S.A. searches.
2) I found that whenever I changed my unit tactics for my U.S.A. team, this also changes the unit tactics for my Blackhawks team. How do you stop this? I eventually saved my tactics and reloaded them for each game, but this seems like a bit of a pain and unnecessary.
Thanks

I'm not sure about hiring scouts because I've always scouted u20 players before the u20 tournament begins so if I was accepted for the job, I'd already know who to pick
.. I dont think it's possible with the tactics either. I'm GM of the canucks and hawks and it might be an error, because the game tends to recognize me as one player even though I'm two seperate GM's. Ex) 6 Players from your Vancouver Canucks have been selected to the All Star game; though it's 3 from each team. There's quite a few other things I can do with one team that also effects the other.
.. if any of that made sense
Hope it helps

You can't hire scouts to national teams, so you have to use your Blackhawks' scouts.

Hello,
The World Cup is coming up in my game and Team USA is hiring a new coach. I really want to be in the World Cup and I've applied for the job. I've got a "Star" reputation as a GM and won the World Championships last year, but the game keeps picking some no-name minor league coach over me.
I notice that the opening gets announced in the evening, but, when I hit continue, the game skips the evening and goes right to the next day, so I don't get to apply for the job until the next morning. Did that delay in applying lower my chances of getting selected by the team?
Related topic: Is there a way to control how much the game advances whenever I hit continue? For example, when I click on continue, can I only advance to the evening instead of jumping ahead to the next day?
Thanks!

I doubt the time skip has anything to do with your application getting approved or not. I am surprised that you didn't get the job, though, because usually the puter does alot of it's hiring by player/staff reputation.
You can't decide how much time is advanced by each click of the continue button.
