EHM The Blue Line

Hey guys, just stumbled across this site while searching for an answer to my question. Anyways, I just started playing NHL EHM 07 for the first time in awhile and started up a new game. I fired a couple below average scouts & made an offer to a few replacement scouts and then set my lines & tactics.

However, I'm now unable to assign scouts or search for players or staff. I go to the front office and click on all 3 buttons at the bottom of the left panel (the ones labeled "player & staff search", "shortlist", & "scouting") but nothing happens. It doesn't take me to another screen or tell me any reason why these options aren't working. It's not like the options are greyed out or anything (like the "player & staff search" option is when I try to get there from the general manager dropdown).

Also, when I click the "option" dropdown box to try to save the game, the option to save or load a game is no longer available. What's up?

Theres a few screens such as the scouting screen that if not closed by hitting ok or cancel will not allow the things you mentioned. Try backtracking to find the offending window thats been left open improperly or if that doesn't work you should be able to get to the screen you need to close by clicking on the button or link you would normally open it with. Could take some trial and error of you can't remember which one it might be but I've always managed to figure it out when it happens to me.
