Future Arena Moves in config file

Hello everyone,

I am working on (and don't hold your breath on it ever finishing) a 1972 mod. So far, I'm hung up on the arenas for the Hartford Whalers.

I am able to get them to start up at the Boston Arena (modded to seat a whole 5407), and they moved to Hartford in 1975, so I'm trying to get them a future arena move.

Here is the line in the config-

"ARENA_MOVE" "Hartford Whalers™" "Boston Arena" "Hartford Civic Center" 9 9 2006 10000 5000 10507 1

The Hartford Civic Center is a current arena (I replaced Anaheim Place in the db), and I'm trying to move to it on Sept 9th, to avoid having to sim too long to test it.

After three tests, Sept. 9th comes and goes, and the Whalers are still in the Boston arena. Does anyone have experience with future arenas to assist me? Another long term follow up question if someone does- is there a limit to how far out an arena change can be set? (I'm thinking about places like Boston, where the old Garden is replaced 21 years after the start of the mod).

Thanks for any and all help!

Firstly, Great to see more mods being made!

As to your problem... That's an odd one. I've had a little experience with Arena Changes, New Jerseys is obviously already done and i've added in the Penguins new arena without any problems. As for your Whalers, i'm looking and re-looking at what you've done and i can't see anything wrong with it! However, after checking the teams already done in the DB, I'm fairly confident you must take out the "TM" in the Hartford Whalers line. I looked at NJD's in the original DB and that doesn't have a TM after its name.

If it's not that, i'm out of options. :-D

The TM was the issue! Thanks so much!

A 72 mod..... WOW now that would be cool :-D
Hopefully you can finish it up one day as it would be great to play with all the oldtimers I remember growing up like Bobby Orr, Gordie Howe, etc... :-D =D>

Play my 79-80 mod. Those two may be old but they're both there ;)
