What a good news !! As announced on RDS and RIS (French sports TV network on Quebec ) the Habs have been sold out to the Molson family

Finally Bob Gainey can concentrate on sigining UFA to be Mike Komisarek,Alex Tanguay and Alex Kovalev (i want them back imho!) I personnaly think this is a good move in the right direction, but George Gillett has been an great owner for the past 7-8 years and wish him well with his Liverpool adventure !

Oh Yeah great news! It's not 100% confirm but we can say the deal is done.

The Molson bring back a certain tradition into the Canadien. Just hope they restore to glorious past of the Montreal Canadien, after one disaster year.

Oups, just got to RDS.ca and they confirm the Habs rent. Now let's pass to something more important! Bring some good players!

Good news for Liverpool FC, they've been in financial trouble. But now he's sold it, they could be back in business.
Not good for me, i'm a Man United fan!

joki gang, as a habs fan i'm curious what you think about Saku Koivu not returning. I'm certainly excited about the possibility of him coming to minnesota.

This is good news for both the Habs and Liverpool. Gillett could have brought both teams to ruin if he hadn't sold one up. You'd have thought somebody who had earned such a fortune would know when he's stretching his finances too far!!

Saku has been the best Habs player in the worst era of the team,a player who play full gas all the time, good playmaker and leader

but since his cancer he isnt the same .he can certainly run a 2nd line very well but his age and status on the Canadiens team isn't worth the price hes asking (around 5 i think) never again Saku in a habs uniform at that price !

I haven't been able to watch NHL too much so I can't really say how good Saku has been lately... but I can say that he sucked (hard) in 2008 world championships... It was that time when I realized that Saku is not the player he used to be.
It would be very nice to see Saku and Mikko Koivu in the same team, even though they wouldn't be in the rink at the same time.
