Here are some quick and easily answers to some frequently asked questions.
1. What is EHM?
EHM is called Eastside Hockey Manager, a simulating game where you manage your own team, from signing contracts, trading, to scouting for those special gems to make your team great for the future. You can hire coaches, scouts, and general managers. Pick in the NHL draft, you name it, the works
2. How can I obtain EHM? Is it free for download?
You can download a free trial try then buy for six months at www.sigames.com , but after the six months are up, you have to buy the game. You can buy the game at EB games stores in Canada and the USA (this may not be true currently though). The game is available pretty much anywhere in Europe. You can also buy the game online at www.sigames.com via a digitial download.
3. What is the criteria to join the league?
1. Have a copy of EHM 2005
2. MSN MANDATORY
3. Make sure to check the forums two to three times a week for important updates and news.
4. How do I join the league?
By checking out the Team Availability thread in the GM Sign Up section of the forums. If a team is/is not available, post in the Team Availability thread with your name, nationality, and msn/email so we can place ya on the waiting list or give you a team, depending on if a team is available.
5. How active do I have to be?
Basically, just show signs of life. Make sure at the very least to check the server once a week, and the forums two to three times a week.
6. How many teams can be in the league?
Only 30 teams can be in the league at the moment, since that is the maximum amount that the server holds.
