EHM The Blue Line

Sooooo I am the GM of the Kings and its 2010, my first defensive pairing is Zdeno Chara and Jack Johnson. I just accuried Chara for Drew Doughty and a 1st. Boston was 3rd last in the league, I am 2nd in the west so I am going for the cup. This is a deadline deal.

Chara's doctor suggestions retirement for a re-occuring injury in his knee.

So im out a future star d-man in Drew Doughty, my first overall pick and the best defenseman in the game. FML.

Tell some stories where you have had career ending injuries not just to stars but any player. Or if you would like you can fail and tell a story about how youve gotten screwed over by a long term injury.

Nikolai Zherdev retired in the last year of his contract sometime around 2013-14 for me. Sucked since he was a key player and it was about march/april aswell. Well at least I won the cup and got 7 million dollars in insurance.


In the same save I also signed Jonas Gustavsson, had him as backup for 2-3 years then traded him to Dallas where he turned into a real star. We meet up about 2 years later in the finals, we win, and the following off-season he retires due to a recurring injury.

Insurances in EHM? Now I can say I've seen everything.
