Hey Stinson!
Will you put up a league this season?
I had fun playing it last year

Yeah, there will definitely be a league this year.

We haven't gotten too far into the planning of it yet, but I can say this one will be a "keeper league" using the Yahoo! style Head-to-head scoring. And I'm hoping to have it run by all the interested admins/mods, rather than having it run by just me.

I think our hope (well, mine at least) is that this league will continue year-to-year, and become a standard fixture in the competitions and games we have here at TBL.

P.S. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions for the league, feel free to post them. We'll certainly take them into consideration, and see what we can do with them.

I'd like to join the league this year too.

I like head-to-head format (i'm playing cbs fantasy baseball and i think is better than rot formats.)

Since will be a keeper league some rules like a DL place will be necessary.
Last year we played a 20 teams format. maybe 16 teams would be better (of course i don't know if its possible) but is better than 10 teams format.

I think I'm "THE "DRAFTS A GREAT TEAM (FOR 2014)" GUY". I have a bad habit of wanting to draft youngsters in hopes that they're going to have their break-out season. I always seem to have a couple guys on my team who do nothing in that first season but do great in the next.

Before you all continue commenting their appearance you should understand that I chose that particular animal for the name of my team because of certain resemblance.  :-D

I really hope the draft will be on Sunday because I can most likely not be there on Saturday.

Just a reminder:

Make sure you vote for draft day. Voting closes on Wednesday, September 23rd. At that point, I'll schedule our draft according to the poll results.

As for a time of day, I'm gonna try to schedule it at a reasonable time for all timezones in our league. I'm not yet sure what that'll be, but I'll do my best to avoid having anyone draft at a clearly bad time.

Is it too late to join? I can't work out how to enter the league?

Yup... you're too late to sign up for this season and even if you were, I think you would've been stuck on the waiting list anyhow. Read the following thread for details...

Really hoping I can be at the draft. I don't want to have to keep trying all season to trade for a goalie, or make any deals with MANIMAL, although I pretty much took him to the cleaners on all but one. Gonna take Burrows this year and keep him bud?

And no way do I deal Ladd for Barker again. Man that was a rookie mistake at the start.

I saw the 2 dates listed in the poll for which day to hold the draft (and I voted for Sunday) but what I didn't see was a potential time for the draft. I'm hoping it's in the evening (Eastern Time) and not during the day. I've got plans earlier that day that I forgot about when I voted.

You might have won some trades but I finished above you in the standings :-D
And if I can I'll pick Burrows just so that you won't

pfft to Manimal. You just got lucky as I died out the last week. And you can have Burr...he won't get much ice with Danny and Henrik this year with Samuelsson and a couple others around anyway.

Oh, and I voted Sunday as well. Evening would likely be better, but I don't know my son's schedule for hockey so not 100% sure what is going to work.

Well, if it'll be in the evening Eastern Time, then it'll be in the middle of the night in Europe. And that in mind I voted for Saturday, as I would be able to be awake early in Sunday morning but not in Monday.

I couldnt attend the draft last season, and was left without goailes. Luckily the other users were kind enough to trade me some keepers. I really hope I can make the draft this year!
