I have a 24" widescreen LCD with resolution set at max 1920x1200. Just bought the game (via demo online) and want to know how to change the resolution ingame? I can't find the option to do it. Because when I go in the game I can't see a chunk of the left and upper sides of the game.

You can't change the resolution of the game. You only have the choice between Full Screen and Windowed mode. You can choose between those in "Preferences".

Why when I run the game in full screen is about a quarter of the screen cut off then? Is there anyway to fix it? At this point the game is unplayable in full screen mode because I can't see any of the options on the left side of the screen.

It's cutting off the bottom quarter of the screen because you've got a wide screen resolution and you're set to full screen. It won't distort the game's proportions (making it stretched wide) so it's sizing the game to fit it's width, which is too tall to fit on the screen. Try it in "Windowed Mode" and it should work.

I have a 19" widescreen LCD monitor and I can't get EHM to go into Windowed Mode. I've tried playing with the resolution with no luck. Has anyone else ran into this problem?

Try to hide your windows toolbar, it worked for me. :)

I'll give that a shot. Thanks. Does it matter that I'm using Vista?

I guess not. I have Vista Home Premium, and using ObjectDock here it makes my desktop kinda larger. :)

I had resolution troubles when trying to play on my laptop. Like the thread-starter, the game was somewhat cut off. The problem was that the hardware did not support the greater resolution needed to play the game.

However, by unclicking a box in Display Properties, the game was still "bigger" than the screen, but I could access the cut-off parts by moving the mouse towards the end of the screen.

Display Properties -> Settings -> Advanced -> Monitor -> unclick "Hide modes...". Now you can make the desktop larger, even though the monitor can't display it properly. It's not perfect, but it makes the game playable! :D

Thank you very much for this. I also discovered that I couldn't see part of the screen on my widescreen laptop, but it was the bottom, where the options menu was. Unchecking that box has made the game playable

Is that a netbook? If so, good luck. I tried getting EHM to run on my netbook and it was a total mess. I gave up on it.

football manager make a netbook skin for the game so if someone who makes skins for the game makes one then the game will work :) it's just getting them to make it. i'd make one myself if i knkew how :/
