I did a search, but couldn't find what I was looking for...

My question is concerning Coach of the Year and other awards that are handed out at the end of the year.

In my "career" I've mostly serves as GM/Head Coach for whichever team I'm in control of rather than hire a head coach. Despite many winning seasons, championships, and record-setting years I have never either won Coach of the Year, or even been mentioned in the e-mail as a runner up.

Are us human GMs eligible to win these awards? I'd assume so, since there is an Awards option under Filter when you go to GM Stats.

I'm not sure if it's possible. I always hire a head coach. I'm guessing you get passed over because you're not in a true head coach role (ie, not a non-player in the db designated as a coach).

That was my assumption too, figured the game didn't recognize me somehow.

Is there anyway to change this with one of the editors? Or has anyone actually won the award before?

You could add a non-player to the database with your name and then hire that non-player as your head coach. I'm pretty sure there is nothing you can do to make your GM win the trophy though.
