If there's anyone interested in co-commisioning an online league, or joining one, let me know. I have a ton of free time but don't want to take on the task alone.

Eh, with the new patch coming out in a week or so and a new challenge starting here at TBL, I doubt anyone will have enough time for an online league.

inSTAALed and I got an online game going, it took some tinkering with his router but everything's running smoothly. I took control of the Brampton Battilion and he took over the Plymouth Whalers. In two exhibition games between the two teams, I won the first one 5-1 and he took the second game 4-1.
If anyone needs help setting up your computer for online games, I now consider myself an expert on it

so just send me a message or post here.

Yeah, E-can you give us a step by step guide? I have got 'Mentor' router, can't remeber the specific model, will check later...How many people can you have in the same online game? Would it be possible to get all the mebers of TBL in one?

One problem might be that I don't (as far as I am aware) have a ststic IP address. I did try the port-forwarding website guide when trying to set up an FM game, but I failed miserably...

Yep, you need a static IP address.
E helped me set that up, as well as forwarding the correct ports.
Playing online is so much fun

Alot more competitive and easier to work out trades among other things.

Due to the 'forbidden' error, I can't post the instructions here. It won't even let me submit it to the Knowledge Base.
I'l posted it
Here for now, but I don't think it will be there for long.

Thanks, E-I have printed it off. I will try when I have some free time, maybe tomorrow night actually. If anyone is up for an online game, post in this thread....

I might be.. Do you have AIM or MSN messenger?
I find it easier to communicate that way

I get to this stage..
here..
and then no further. What do I enter into the address bar-just my IP address or the other long number as well? Either way I am screwed because I do not know what our admin password is anyway..

...ho hum.

The address bar is your internal IP address, which should be something like 192.168.1.2
The 10065 is the PORT number that EHM online uses.

Anyone who is interesting to start a online league?
I can play in weekends and some nights in the week, not sure which yet.

I don't know about a 'league' per se, but inSTAALed and I play online against each other on a regular basis. If enough people are interested, and are available on a regular basis, I'll try and set something up though.

Tom, try to post your guide and change any use of "select" to something like 'pick' or 'choose' and see if that works. It seems to be "select" that is the main cuplrit.

I meant interested, I will never post again when I'm in a hurry to do something else.

I know what you meant, but it was just so easy to make a comment about that

Alright, the article has been submitted to the Knowledge base, Thanks for the tip Minty.
Now we just gotta wait to see if I meet the tough criteria to get in there.
