In the playoffs Brent Sutter (who I set to coach everything himself) kept starting Wayne Premeau over Craig Conroy, who should have played in more games as he could have made a difference.

With that said, my question is, do the "player status" settings determine how much the player will be used when the coach is controlling all the tactics? For instance, if I had set Conroy to a regular player while Premeau was set to fringe player, Conroy would have been started correct?

The coach would always choose the guy with the better avarage performance rating.
