NHL/AHL action picture pack

hey,ive recently completed my NHL action picture pack, and im gonna start on AHL.i was wondering if there are any volunteers to help me with the process.basically all i need is for you to go to the AHL website and go to teams rosters, and save all their faceshots with their names, and bithdays dated 4 years ago (to work with the roster updates),and then send the files to me,so i can easily replace the faceshots with action pictures from those players.the reason i want the faceshots is because i cant find pictures for every player, but at least they will then still have their faceshots in the game. also,on the ahl website, the birthdates are listed backwards from the game, for example : GREG NEMISZ 1990-06-05, so i need you to save the file as follows : Greg_Nemisz_5_6_1986.anybody interested in helping me get this done faster for everyones enjoyment?

thanks for your hard work buddy, but i didnt see til now that somebody actually volunteered.i am already done with action shots from roughly 90-95 % of ahl players, including fully updated nhl action shots with draft pick pictures from all the top prospects still playing in junior including around 50 or so players that are top prospects goin into this years draft.just basically finished it right now,so hopefully i can figure out how to get it uploaded asap.also, if anybody is interested,i have an updated database that is nhl/ahl only,it is basically as good as your gonna find, spent hundreds of hours on it, and it is also finally ready for play.i basically edited every player one by one researching attributes to be more like their real life counterparts. simualtions end up being very close to their real stats this season.
2010/2011 nhl/ahl action facepack for you all finally

That sounds great. Thanks for your work in advance!
I have noticed that some people upload their DBs and facepacks on their hotmail account. But I really don't know where the best place to do that is. Possibly someone of the Admin-team has some spare time to get it directly on this site during the next few days.
I am really looking forward to get hold of the pictures and try the database too. Could you be so kind to give some more details on the database? Which leagues did you alter? Did you implement future draft-eligible players?
Thanks a lot

Thanks for your work too!
Could you be so kind to upload the pictures on another site? I guess that free user`s uploads have a download limit of ten times. However, I am not able to download it from rapidshare any more. It's a totally different game experience with a few more pics.

well basically i had started working on it back in october, and when i was about 90% complete (hundreds of hours) for some reason it would no longer load in my editor.at that point i had to decide whether to play it 90% or start over......and being the meticulous type,i had to start over.so to move things along a bit quicker,i used the newest lidas database as a starting point.i basically only edited the nhl and ahl.i know nothing of the euro leagues, and not a whole lot about junior leagues either.i edited every nhl player to be more like their real life counterparts. my simulations were very successful with being close to their actual productions.i also edited many ahl players as well.i updated every prospects potentials,i adjusted alot of the draft eligable players according to their iss rankings,i eliminated alot of random attributes from any player with a CA of 80 or higher to stop nhl teams from signing no name guys with high attributes due to random ratings (guys with 19 wristshot that youve never heard of). lowered overall league scoring to be more like real life. signed alot of nhl free agents to their current euro teams so they arent on the free agents list.just basically anything that could have made the league better.....i did it.if your a fan of nhl, then your gonna want my database.i even made every jersey number current to match my action pack,so that all players squad, and favorite numbers were the same so they will always match their picture (unless of course they get traded and that number isnt available).if u want, let me know who your favorite nhl team is,and i'll show you a screenshot of their stats at year end to compare to their real life pace this season, you'll love it.

sorry,i guess i should have just looked at your name and pic,im assuming your a sabres fan? i hated editing that team, cause for some reason they always produced way more then they should have.the 5 hardest teams to get right were the sabres, blackhawks, bruins, flyers, and sharks.......the hardest being sabres.i had to work on these teams tons to get good results.

Hope this works.
I also noticed a small error in Hershey Bears. Andrew Gordon got a "I" in the end, just remove it.

That sounds just great, thehab! The work Lidas and Manimal did over the past few years concerning the DB is outstanding, but I understand that some more detailed work can't be done due to the huge DB. I noticed that many player's stats were pretty different from their real life ones. The screenshot you provided looks very nice, that should be very close to their live counterparts. Well, Vanek's 8.2 S% is a bit shabby, but that's Ruff's fault or Roy's because he isn't injured in that simulation, not yours
I can't wait to get my hands on that DB and the pics of course, did you find a method to upload it somewhere? Did you contact an admin?
Thanks again, please upload it as fast as possible

Thanks to you too, Reave - I am just downloading the AHL pics, there is only a little bit of waiting time on the site. Maybe you could upload it there at 2shared too, thehab ?

I like what I'm hearing

and hope to see an upload soon.
I really thought that the current Lidas rosters were a little favorable to some players. For instance, every season I've started has seen Ovechkin, Backstrom, and Semin 1,2,3 in points scoring (not necessarily in that order, but they were always the top 3) - Each of these players scored 140+ points (Semin had over 160 one season), while players such as Crosby, Stamkos, etc were getting less than 100 points.

Have you done all the NHL facepacks by yourself?

You know, proper etiquette for using somebody's database as a starting point of your own is to ask that person's permission. If you're planning on sharing your database with others, you really should ask Lidas. And if you're using Lidas Rosters 3.0, you should also ask Manimal for permission since he took over the roster updates from Lidas, with Lidas' blessing. It's just not cool to use someone else's work as starting point for your own without approaching them.

well as much as i dont really agree with that,i suppose if manimal has a problem with it,then i will not share the database.manimal has asmitted his lack of research in certain leagues,so all i was trying to do,was to see if anybody was interested in a database until the next version of his was released.really, the only reason why i offered was because alot of the jersey numbers are incorrect, and my action pack wouldnt match alot of his jersey numbers......kinda just didnt wanna release an action pack that didnt match players jersey numbers in the game

I would appreciate people asking me if it's OK to use the db in such a fashion. There is nothing really I can do to stop guys from doing so. What I'd really want is for everyone to work together so we can have a db that is as good as possible
