EHM The Blue Line

Hi all,

You may remember that last year I had some problems with EHM 2007 crashing when trying to load it. Suddenly it started working again one day and all was well.

Then it stopped again, and I haven't been able to play since

Then my PC went a bit odd and I ditched ZoneAlarm for Comodo.

Lo and behold...it's working again! I don't understand what went wrong before but it looks like ZA blocked some process without telling me and messed it all up.

So I can play again...hurrah!! I hope this helps anyone else who had this error and never managed to fix it.

Good to hear. Do you think it was Zonealarm or something else that made the game not work?

Pretty certain it was ZA, but I really don't know why.

As I remember - this was a long time ago - when I installed ZA, EHM stopped working. However, I randomly tried running it one day and it worked again. Then it stopped again, and I never did get to the bottom of why (I have a memory of uninstalling ZA and EHM still not working, but I am not sure).

This morning I got rid of ZA, having also swapped AVG for Avast some time ago. Out of interest I tried EHM and it worked first time - but Comodo threw up the best part of a dozen messages asking for permission to let EHM do all kinds of things, so I can only think that ZA blocked some of those processes and the game ended up screwed.

You never can tell with puters these days...
