I noticed the first mistake myself

The Columbus Blue Jackets doesn't have an ECHL-affiliate. It should be the Chicago Express.
Meanwhile, Minnesota is no longer affiliated with Bakersfield.
Both will be changed in the future

Is it just me, or are the player's age not updated on this roster?
Its just a bit weird to see Colorado Avalanche's Gabriel Landeskog being on their roster at the age of 13

Other than that, thanks for the roster, greatly appreciated

The 2011-12 Manimal Rosters are set up to work with the CSD patch...so once you apply the patch, and you're starting in 2011 instead of 2006, Landeskog will be 18

Any hope of a "dunce" version of the DB for us poor, sad Mac users with the ages date-shifted?

Ah thanks for that, I guess I was in too much of a hurry to play with the new roster to actually read the patch, thanks

pk subban hardcored at 180 PA? maybe a -9 instead since he's still pretty young

Washington is due a 2nd rounder from the Avalanche in either 2012 or 2013 from the Varlamov trade. Right now they have neither, I'd probably just give them the 2012 one.

I think that's a very fair point. Manimal emailed to me a non-date shifted copy which I can upload this evening. I will just need to change back the DOBs and check the extra_config.cfg file.

I will write a script which will convert a "CSD database" for use with the hardcoded 2006 start date so that everybody can continue to enjoy the rosters (even with all of the new player career histories etc).

I don't have any conditional picks in the list. Since we now these conditions, I probably should have this trade

That, sir, is why you and Manimal are STEELY-EYED MISSILEMEN!

The only other thing I'd remind you to add to the conversion script would be a function to knock the corresponding number of years off of player contracts - much as I love, say, Derek Morris, I would rather not have him tied up for eight years...

That will come with the contract aging. The version he'll have ready for you later on will not have that. So, you will have Morris with three years remaining on his contract

Some things for Färjestad, really minor stuff, but those counts aswell

* You can remove Bofors, but keep Örebro on affiliations.
* Nihlstorp spell his first name Cristopher.
* Mattias Sjögren has #11, Hannes Hyvönen #23 and Stefan Meyer #14.
* Linus Fröberg is contracted to 2012.
* (I don't know if this one makes any difference), but on affiliations FBK J18 is "secondary farm" instead of "secondary junior" and J20 is "Dependant" instead of "Independant", comparing to the other Elitserien teams.
* Jörgen Jönssons number 21 is not a retired number in-game, even though it's in the extra_config file. It's wierd the other numbers work but not this one, it was the same problem in the 3.x databases. I had to set a date for it to be retired.

J20:

* Max Görtz is contracted to the J20 team.
* FBK J20 should have colours like FBK J18 and FBK.

Ha! I like being called a steely-eyed missileman!! What a great phrase!

The script I'll write (I'll probably start it this weekend - it'll only take a few days to finish) will, amongst other things, correct:

• Years of birth (both in the DOB and year of birth fields)
• Draft years (i.e. it will move the 2011 draftees to 2006, 2010 to 2005, etc)
• Contract expiries
• Competition and career histories (e.g. so the 2010/11 histories will appear in game as 2005/06) - so you can benefit from the history research project just like those with the CSD patch

There will probably be other bits it will change too (I need to sit down and take a good look). The aim will be to make the rosters exactly the same as the 2011 CSD rosters but just adjusted for the 2006 start date. So with the exception of the different years, the rosters will be exactly the same.

Yes, there are a few guys missing in the Q. They will be added in the future.
The OHL is better off, but the WHL has not been worked on due to a computer crash of my researcher. It will be added later on

Retired jersey numbers are causing problems. I had meant to go through the list to see who works and don't and set up dates for the non-working ones. What date did you use for Jönsson?

In the extra config file, Tim Connolly of the Leafs is listed with a permanent injury, when he is healthy and playing this season for the Leafs, and the same for Anthony Stewart of the Hurricanes.

No, those are Future permanent injuries. That means injuries that could happen and with Connolly we all know it will, eventually
