Re-gen players Mode

As we know,championship manager 0102 has the re-gen players mode.
But the CM0304 and EHM series has abandoned this mode.Do you think this mode is interesting and can be edited back in the 2007 series?

We can't add anything back into the game as we don't the game's source code. All we are able to do is edit start dates, some league rules and possibly the schedules.
I'm not sure if you're using "re-gen" in the same meaning as we do on TBL, but EHM does use regens. Each time a player retires, a regen player is created based upon part of the former player's profile.

You both mean the same thing I guess. EHM hasn't abandoned anything in this regard.
To clear things up: EHM uses the exact same "regen mode" as CM 01-02.

I am wondering why CM0304 abandon this feature,but the same year product EHM retains the game feature
