Has anyone heard the news about the hockey game that Wayne Gretzky and EA plan to develop for the Wii? They were waiting to develop their own custom controller.

Yeah I noticed that too. I actually bought another Wii the other day (I traded my old one in for an XBox 360 about 18 months ago) because I missed Mario Kart!
