What is the player limit for your AHL team again. Is it 23 like the NHL club?
Thanks

What makes a Veteran a veteran in the AHL?
I have a question about the veterans. What makes a player a veteran? I have a 21 year old that has less then 100 games played in the AHL, and none in the NHL and he is listed as a vet. But then i have a 23 year old with over 100 games and is not a vet. I was a little shocked when i had 12 vets at the start of the new year and now im having to sell off players to get a playable team.
Thanks for the help!

Instead of selling players, you can always loan your vets to other AHL teams. I do that quite a bit, especially with Goalies and Defencemen, which I always seem to have too many vets in both positions.MacPhal wrote:I have a question about the veterans. I find it especially useful for goalies. I currently have 3 goalies I think are at the AHL level, but don't want any one to be playing backup. I keep 1, and loan the other 2 to teams with a weak starter. Then they all get good play time at the AHL level, instead of sending one to ECHL or trading him away when he has potential.MacPhal wrote:And ill try that loan idea out.
