International GM

Post by Thundercleese »

Can I take a job as an international GM during or after (or between, like the Olympics) my NHL season? Or will doing so cost me my pro job? I've read on other posts that apparently I can manage internationally without consequences on the pro level but I want to be sure. Also, will I still be able to coach my pro team while I'm working internationally? Can I coach both teams, even if they're on the same night?

Thanks

Yup, you can coach both a club team as well as an international one at the same time.

I'm not sure about on the same night if that should happen; but usually international competitions are earlier in the competition day than the NHL games for example. You can though run both at the same time. You get an additional option in your 'General Manager' menu that gives you access to your international roster and from there you can seek out players and name them to your international squad.
