Is this the case in all of the forums or just one in particular?Konstantinov16 wrote:I absolutely hate to go off topic with this, but I am unable to start a new topic in these forums, could someone help? It says i have permision but there is no "new topic" button???

It's quite strange, I can post in the EHM Challenges area, but no other forums. I'm using Internet Explorer 8...

You're completely right. Dabo pointed out the same issue yesterday but assumed it was just a glitch with me giving him Mod permissions for the DHM Forum.
I've tried logging in with our Test User account (because I have Admin powers I can see and do things normal users can't - including being able to post in every forum). I can see that it looks like the Post New Topic button has disappeared from every forum apart from the DMHNL Forum and Challenge Forum. This kind of figures as they use a separate template from the other forums.
The forum permissions haven't changed so it must be something to do with the template. The weird thing is that it was working before and I haven't touched the template.
I'm going to look into it this evening and will get it fixed asap.

Not a problem.
Try now. It looks as though I've fixed it.
It was because of a rogue exclamation point ("!") in the code from when I recently redesigned the header nav bar. It meant that the "post new topic" button was hidden when viewing with Internet Explorer.
Let me know if it's now working for you or whether it's still not working.

Oh BTW Archi--Today you have to up the total to 1644 (should always be 1000 more posts than someone)

Well then it might become a problem if that someone posts a lot and the total ends up becoming a few thousand no?
