Need comments about a trade offer...
Since my Montreal Canadiens are doing bad in my season, I decide to start the clean up of the team. I have trade Sundstrom to New Jersey for a 4th draft pick in 2006. And now, it's the Bonk's turns. I send an offer of trade to all teams for Bonk. Many have reject this, some sent bad offer. But I still with 7 respectable offers. And I don't know wich of these one to conplete.
Pittsburgh : 2nd pick 2006
Carolina : 4th pick 2006 (Calgary)
4th pick 2006 (Leafs)
NY Rangers : Petr Prucha
7th pick 2006
Nashville : Simon Gamache
Mark Eaton
Kings : 2nd pick 2006
Columbus : Mark Hartigan
Francois Beauchemin
Minessota : Alex Henry
Dwayne Roloson
What do you think about that? Personnaly, I will look closer for the Kings 2nd pick (since they lower than Pittsburgh). But, I don't know if it will be better the 2nd pick or 2 4th pick.

If your goal is to rebuild the team, trading Bonk for a second rounder is the best route. You get to dump an old guy who is grossly overpaid without adding any salary to your payroll. It gives you some room to bring in free agents that will actually produce and earn their money.
Can you tell I'm not a Bonk fan?

what I do...
Finally, I have take the 2nd round pick. Since all of you suggest me that choice and I use the regular database.
Some days after, I have trade Mark Streit for a 3rd round pick. Not so bad too.
Thanks all for your help.

One more time
Hi again! I need your help one more time. For my goal to rebuild the Habs dynasty, and after have trade Sundstrum, Bonk and Streit, I have decide to trade one who did not do the job than I wait from him : Théodore.
I have sent de trade suggestion for him to all teams. But only 8 teams show interest for him. I'm 14th in East (1 point in front of Atlanta). But trades are not very interesting. So, I want to know if I must trade him or keep him. The trades :
Chicago : 4th picks 2006 (Pittsburgh)
4th picks 2009
4th picks 2010
San Jose : 4th picks 2007
4th picks 2008
4th picks 2009
Jim Fahey
Columbus : 2nd picks 2006
3rd picks 2006
4th picks 2007
Mark Hartigan
Francois Beauchemin
Edmonton : 2nd picks 2006
3rd picks 2007
4th picks 2007 (Islanders)
Nashville : Simon Gamache
Mark Eaton
Chris Mason
Washington : Brent Johnson
4th picks 2006 (Detroit - last in the league)
4th picks 2007
4th picks 2008
Florida : Alexander Karpovtsev
Jamie McLennan
Pittsburgh : 2nd picks 2006
3rd picks 2007
4th picks 2007
Josef Melichar
Brooks Orpik
To help you, here's Théo's stats :
36 game play
10 victory, 19 lost, 7 lost in overplay (with 2193 minutes of play)
107 goals against (with 1191 shots on him)
2.93 goals per game
efficacity : 0.910
2 shoutouts
1 assist
Personnaly, I am more interested to go with a trade with Pittsburgh or Washington. But not for what they offer... but for 2 guys than it's not necessary to name. But the question is : are they interested to trade them? I don't think so. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I have decide to wait to trade Théo. But now, I am nearby of being fired by Montreal (we are in middle of Janyary 2006). I have a little more time (after ask more time to rebuilt the team). I start to look closer for made a trade. I need a key LW player. I have look around the league for some that look interesting. But no one is available. So, I would like to know if you have some suggestion of LW to bring on my team.
Here is my team :
T. Pleckanec - S. Koivu - A. Kovalev
A. Perezhogin - M. Ribeiro - M. Ryder
C. Kilger - J. Bulis - M. Lapointe
p. Dagenais - S. Begin - A. Zednik
(S. Corson - J. Hedström)
A. Markov - M. Dandenault
S. Souray - M. Komisarek
F. Bouillon - R. Hainsey
(C. Rivet)
J. Théodore
C. Huet

I havent played this game very much but i tried it with Montreal for about 10 games before starting over with another team.
I had
Zednik -Koivo- Kovalev
In the 1st line and Zednik had about one point per game. So my advise woud be to move Zednik to 1st line Left Wing.
Second line i think i had Bulis -Ribeiro- Ryder
But dident have any success.

Okay, I also need some trade advice now.
I'm the Leafs, and I have two offers on the table. One includes Lindros, the rights to young d-man Phil Oreskovic, Alex Suglobov and my 1st rounder. In return I would get Ladislav Nagy from Phoenix.
The other offer is Jeff O'Neill and the 1st rounder in exchange for Shane Doan (who's making twice as much as O'Neill, $3M).
Getting rid of a soon-to-be UFA and injury prone guy like Lindros would be great, especially since I probably won't be able to re-sign him for reasonable cash.
Nagy's contract runs through the next season as well. This season he's only making $2M and in 2006-2007 he's gonna be making $2.4M.
If I trade for Doan, the lines would look like this:
Tucker - Sundin - Doan
Steen - Allison - Kukumberg
Maltby - Lindros - Kilger
Ponikarovsky - Stajan - Domi
And if I land Nagy:
Tucker - Sundin - O'Neill
Nagy - Allison - Kukumberg
Maltby - Steen - Kilger
Ponikarovsky - Stajan - Domi
What should I do?
(I'm actually leaning towards the Nagy offer)

I wouldn't take either offer, unless you are going for a strong cup run this season.
The Nagy trade is a huge trade for a second liner, I wouldn't do Nagy for Oreskovic and Suglobov alone probably, add a first and its a big overpayment, add Lindros and its a blockbuster for a second liner. Unless you are desperate to be rid of Lindros, and aren't interested in the future, this is a huge overpayment IMO.
The O'Neill trade also seems a bit steep, Doan is good, but not a huge upgrade on O'Neill, so given the salaries, the trade would be even player for player. To add a first makes it another overpayment.
Either trade would be worth doing if you feel that it is the one trade that will win you the cup, the future is irrelevent when you win the lot, but unless you are serious contenders this year, both trades cost too much IMO.
