I think there'll only be about 8,000 max tomorrow (due to the capacity of the arena). Should be pretty full and a good atmosphere (unlike the NHL game a few years ago)

No TV coverage unfortunately, which is a bit of a missed opportunity; some brief highlights can be found here: http://www.u.tv/UTVMediaPlayer/Default. ... d35&ref=nf

as well as some interviews here: http://video.bruins.nhl.com/videocenter ... 6&catid=-6

and some match reports here: http://www.nhl.com/ice/recap.htm?id=2010011001 http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=539333

Just got back from an enjoyable weekend in Belfast. The elite all stars put up a good showing. Probably an ideal score as if bruins has lost they could be accused of not taking the game seriously and if they had thrashed the Giants it would be less likely an NHL team coming back over to the British Isles. Nice pic Calv I was also behind that net but at the left side.

Nice picture! It looks like a full house. I hope it was a good crowd. I hope you guys that went had a fun time. I heard Seguin scored 2, one on a penalty shot.

He did indeed, you can see his goals in the link I posted a couple of posts above. The penalty shot came after a breakaway, which the Belfast netminder made a good save on, but Seguin was getting hooked so the ref gave a penalty shot which he pulled a nice move on to slide it under Murphys pad.

I don't remember you taking a photo during the game! :D

I was really surprised at how great the game was. The UK All-Stars team put up a very good performance - they did the EIHL proud. Ok the Bruins clearly weren't putting up as big a fight as they would in the NHL but it's not like they had their foot off the gas either. The UK team really stepped up the faster and more physical play of the Bruins. Steven Murphy in the UK net was fantastic!

Seguin was impressive. The way he scored the penalty shot was brilliant - and we had a great view behind the net.

The atmosphere was great! Everyone (including me! :D) was behind the UK team.

When we came out of Pizza Hut (we went there straight after the game) we saw two of the UK team players eating a kebab! I'm not sure you'd catch a Bruins player doing that :D

Unfortunately I can't take credit for that photo, I think it was taken a row or two in front of us.

Keep your pad on the ice!

Wow what a brilliant video! I know we were both impressed with the goal when we saw it for real, but that video shows just how darn good it was. 8-)

I'm sure Bill would like to see that vid!
