Strange error??

I wonder if this happend also to some of u guys:

Well, in my Bruins franchise there was a point where I signed/traded for this two players: G Pascal Leclaire and C Nicklas BÃ¤ckstrom.
As I had good goalies and good centers I decided to put then in my AHL affiliate in Providence. Then for one or another reason I traded them away or didnt resign them. I think I traded both away.
To here everything OK, but then I noticed something strange:
They still appear in the tactics screen of the Providence team!!! And also in the Boxscore of their games when they play in the AHL!!! Its strange, because they only appear there, because in the stats they arent there!!
This happend for two or three seasons already and it bothers me a bit, specially with Leclaire, because he cuts the way of my younger goalies who cant play because he is there!!!
Right now in my fifth season both, Leclaire and BÃ¤ckstrom play in Carolina, but they still appear with Providence, cutting playing time to some promising young players I have!!!

Does this strange error also appeard in your games?? Dont know, probably I have done something wrong, but I really dont know what, because the only thing I have done is downloading playerfaces or unfakings...I mean that didnt go deep into the gamefiles because I dont know much about informatic or PCs so I prefer to not touch an original game. Dont want to brake it, lol!!

Just wondering if somebody had the same issue or if somebody could give me some feedback!!

I haven't seen this happen before no... but to resolve it you should just add a GM as the Providence GM and see if you can clear it up. Maybe if you remove them from the lineups their ghosts will stop taking shifts at Providence.

Do you have the AHL set to standard, or enhanced? If you have neither, that might be what is caseing the problem.

Yeps, I have tried it already!!

Added a new GM for Providence, fixed the error (that means I made some additional signings also to fill all the spots...just in case) and then said to myself: problem fixed, time to quit in Providence.

Guess what happened: yes Sir, the ghosts appeared again, lol!!!

I have the AHL in enhanced, but as the Bruins only have this affiliate I dont know if the problem also would appear in another league affiliate.

Well, never mind, just was curious if somebody had the same issue!!

If you're going to use the editor you could snag another team or two as an affiliate.

I have had this problem too flea. You need to pick the lineup for you team and tell the Head Coach to use that lineup, otherwise he will play those two guys every game. Which is weird because they left your team. They will also be on your practice screen. It's a weird bug (sorry for the B-word). If you want a better explanation about it, maybe try the SI forums. I never bothered them because it seemed trivial at the time. Frustrating, but I played through it.

Ok, I will try to tell the Head Coach who to play, but here a question: to do that I will have to take over the team adding a new GM, right??

Oh, that's right, they are on your farm team...

Well, if they are screwing up your farm team and you want to pick who to play you will have to GM the team yourself. It's not too hard to setup the extra GM, and you can set it to be "on vacation" so that you don't have to deal with it every day.
