Help! No schedule for my ahl team...

Post by Panther23 »

Hi guys, first post here!

In my game i'm running the Panthers and the Rochester Americans.
Entering the seventh season (already mid october passed) my ahl team has no scheduled games. All other teams (nhl and ahl) are playing regularly... :dunno: Did this happen to someone before, any way to fix it?

Have you done any editing of the database?

I remember seeing this happen when there is incorrect number of teams in a league. Say, if you have 31 teams in the NHL, for example.

But I've never seen it happen mid-game, after seven seasons! :dunno:

If you are using the latest Lidas update Rochester should play in ECHL.

Ok. Didn't remember that, restarted the save two weeks ago. Changed rochester with some other ahl team then.
But all worked fine until now... :-?

That's prolly the reason then.

When editing the database you always take a risk of making the game unstable.

thanks
Maybe the best thing would be loaning all my prospects to some other ahl teams and we'll see what happens next season...
Or you think i can change something with the save game editor?

Umm... what?

I thought you said you had moved teams between leagues with the editor before you started a new game. Or did I misunderstand something? :-k

Yes, i did change them before the start of the game. I put rochester in the ahl and binghampton in the echl.

My question is: is it possible to switch some affilation agreements during a running save? If not i have to loan all my ahl players to other teams in order to give them some playing time...

Did you place Rochester in the same division as Binghamton was in?

If not there's too many teams in a division and too little teams in another.

Ah, okay. Got a bit confused there for a sec :-D

Not sure what to do, though. If you don't think it's too much of a hassle to loan all your AHL players elsewhere, then I guess you could do that.

I personally would start a new game with unedited or Lidas' database (which has been proven balanced and working). Too much micromanagement for me to loan players around all the time. :dunno:
