Roszival wasn't really appreciated by the crowd in N.Y. I heard. So maybe the Rags just do to him a favor and at the same time take a foward to replace Frolov who's lost for the season.

By the way Ceebee I'm happy that the Canucks are going so well. Been awhile since we got a Canadian team so good. Sedins ftw!!

Wolski wasn't really doing well in Phoenix and I guess they needed somebody like Rozival to replace Michalek (left as a UFA). The Rangers needed to replace the Frolov (injured for season the other day). The funny thing with this deal is that Wolski is a lower cap hit but Rozival is actually owed less money. He's got a higher cap hit but less money still due to him, so that's good for the Yotes.

The Yotes signed Wolski way to high this summer. 3.8 millions after only a 65 pts season? Back in the days Wolski have showed good things at his first NHL season but after this, absolutely nothing.

Yeah, the whole Wolski trade is weird. Mueller still injured and Wolski struggling... But last season Mueller performed well so I think it was good trade for Avs.
So did Wolski for the Coyotes. Avalanche got Porter as well, who's been decent for them. Now Coyotes get Rozsíval. Hard to point out a clear-cut winner of that trade. If Mueller comes back for good from his concussion... I think it's safe to say both teams benefited in some way.

I am a fan of Wolski and I can't help it. After all, he's the only Pole currently playing in the NHL. He's been underperforming as of late, but I really hope that he can turn the things around with the Rangers.

There are rumors about the Wings signing Nabokov. Wasn't expecting this! Howard is injured I think? For how long?

Yeah and I doubt he will go to Detroit, some other team will pick him for sure. There's already rumor that Toronto and maybe the Isles are interested in him. Toronto are pathetic with goalies. They already got Gustavsson and Giguere and they're not even happy with them....

Luckily they figured it out before something much worse happened. It's a very dangerous and serious condition.

I know it could sound stupid but I wonder if the place where Denver is ( high in the mountains ) could be a fact?? Maybe he wasn't used to that kind of environment? I know players talk alot about Denver where there's less air because of the altitude and it's a little harder to play there. :dunno:

He said that he tests if he can play hockey and best possible test is to practice with NHL-stars.

I was quite surprise too! We didn't heard anything about him and then we got this news. I'm also happy though, Forsberg with the Avs is always a good thing. :-)

Forsberg seems kind of positive about a comeback in NHL, but he wants to wait some more days before he decides if he is going to play or not.

Also the teammates seems happy just for the presence of him in the locker room, especially for the younger players who is excited to see one of their idols.

we've heard this every year since he left. Just retire already, Peter.

i have alot of respect for him but at the same time it's getting ridiculous....but, i do hope he really comes back this time; if not then its time to call it quits.

lol Nabokov isn't reporting to the NYI. Who can blame him!? 500k to go to the worst team in the league - No thanks. Did anyone hear Charles Wang interview ? - he was baffled that Nabokov wouldn't report to them. He says they have a contract and he can't believe it...he had to contract with DET, not NY! I hope something can be worked out here for all sides but i'm getting a kick out of it :joy:

Even if Peter is and will be my fav player ever I also think that sometimes it's getting ridiculous....:-( If he's feeling alright I'm glad but after 9-10 games his injuries always come back so I don't have much hope. He should retire and become a coach or something with the Avs that would be awesome! He could teach Duchesne how to be a better playmaker.

So Forsberg is doing the same thing as Teemu Selänne? After every season he says it's his last and then next year he'll still be playing... :-k

So how about the Canucks defenceman Lee Sweatt. Undrafted after 4 years in College played 4 years in Europe and came back to try for the NHL one more time. Playing with the Moose till called up yesterday. Scored the game winning goal in his 1st game in the NHL. Oh yeah, he's listed at 5-9-195 lbs but the announcers were saying he was lucky to be 5-8 :) After the game Luongo said he looked like a little fire hydrant out there and he meant it in a good way as he was grinning from ear to ear. That might be the only goal Lee ever scores in the NHL and in fact it might be the only game he ever plays but what a feeling that must be for a guy thats "way to small' to play in the NHL. :-D Anyway, just wanted to talk about somebody thats not a star but had his day in the sun. IMHO a real feel good story.

It's a good story. I've always like smallish players.... Fleury, St.Louis, Gerbe...They play with a lot of heart.

And Selänne has said it only once, after Stanley.

Alot of people are saying this and I found it really stupid. Yes he's trying to make a come back more than once but he never says that he was retire and want to do a comeback. He has always persevered to find a solution of that goddamn foot injury that destroy an already brilliant career. ](*,)

Yes but he still hasn't gotten it through his head that it's time to hang up his skates and call it a career.
